40 days and 40 nights.....

and I had to decide to take the boys and mates to a movie at a part of Brisbane that will probably be rezoned as Jellyfish Flats sometime this afternoon.   And we didn't get to see the movie because the power went out.  That was enough of an A-ha moment for me, thank you very much.  FF managed to get home at lunchtime and won't be in to work tomorrow, even if it's still there.  West End is swamped, they're evacuating from there and Caboolture and about a dozen other suburbs.  Phones are down....roads are cut.
And still it rains.  And rains.....and rains.
